Can twice-weekly movement, meditation, and mindfulness take your stress level from an “8” to a “4” in just four weeks?

We believe so.

We’re working with the state of Utah, Summit County, and non-profit organizations to create a new evidence-based mental and physical wellness program. All Parkites are invited to join the FIRST 150, a four-week program for FREE.

Learn yoga… and so much more.

Research shows that takes all three — movement + meditation + mindfulness — to create lasting change.

  • Could you benefit from clear instruction in the physical yoga movements?

  • Would you like to learn to focus your mind through meditation?

  • Are you interested in the ideas that help people live calmer, happier lives?

How many yoga classes, meditation retreats, or therapy sessions have you taken (or wanted to take) to help lower your stress and anxiety?

The enduring benefits of these practices arise when they are done in combination. YMI brings all three together in an accessible, twice-a-week format. And the results from our early participants are truly extraordinary.

Be a part of the “FIRST 150”.

Help us assess our program by participating in a 4 week/8 lesson study for FREE. The data on the changes in your physical, mental, and spiritual health will be aggregated as part of our impact assessment.

Yoga Mastery Institute FAQs

  • Yoga Mastery is the yoga learning methodology created and practiced at the Yoga Mastery Institute. Like martial arts, our specially-crafted curriculum enables students to build health in body, mind, and spirit by combining movement, meditation, and mindfulness.

  • “Mastery” is a process of learning, discovery, and growth rather than an end-state of being. It’s a journey that each of us are already on. YMI simply provides one method for walking your path.

  • Think of us more as a yoga school. Our 12-week sessions work through a curriculum that builds over time. This approach makes it easy to start, helps you gain confidence, and allows you to see rapid progress.

  • No. We are making yoga accessible to everyone. Most yoga teacher training programs are filled with students who do not wish to teach. Yoga Mastery brings the lessons of yoga teacher training to everyone.

  • Students place a high value on our focus on education, our unique curriculum and schedule, and the individualized instruction.

Your first 8 lessons (1 month) are free. The remaining 16 lessons of the first level are $560 (monthly payment options available.)

  • Join our free intro class to learn the 5 core poses of yoga, as well as meditation and mindfulness basics.

  • The Yoga Mastery method allows all students to become masters - and teachers. If you wish to teach for us, we have a separate process for training YM teachers. Please contact us for more information.

  • Even if you have taken years of yoga training, we guarantee that you will experience new levels of knowledge and transformation through this approach. But more than physical, the impact of the medtation and mindfulness studies are significant for everyone, teachers and students alike.

  • This is one of the greatest things about the YMI Method: we will help you identify the best way to practice within the boundaries of your particular physical capabilities.
